World Records Organization (WorldKings) has recognized 6 world culinary records set by Vietnam for 2022, with globally recognized street foods, sticky rice and sweet soups.
Recently, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Records Organization (Vietkings) has announced 6 new world records for Vietnamese cuisine and specialties announced by the World Records Union (Worldkings) in 2022.
Accordingly, 6 new world records for Vietnamese cuisine and specialties will be set in 2022, including: Vietnam – The country has the most unique and attractive sticky rice and sweet soups dishes in the world; the world’s many of the most unique natural spices; the world’s most attractive and diverse street food cuisine; the world’s most attractive souvenirs and special gifts; the world’s most typical and attractive home dishes; and the world’s most dishes made from banana trees.
Le Tran Truong An, General Director of VietKings, said that the organization had previously filed and submitted 10 nominations for the culinary field to WorldKings and six of them were recognized. Thus, from 2020 to 2022, there are 14 world records for Vietnamese cuisine set by the World Records Union.
Vietnamese cuisine has become more and more famous all over the world in recent years and has been honored to appear in many famous culinary magazines in the world as well as receive praise from prestigious international chefs.
In the list of 50 “most loved street foods in Asia” recently published by CNN, Vietnam is honored to have three representatives: banh mi, iced coffee and pho.
