Vietravel Airlines to launch international routes in the 2nd quarter this year

Vietravel Airlines has just opened a new flight route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Quy Nhon city (Binh Dinh) and resumed the route to Danang. It is informed that the airline is also planning to open international routes in the second quarter of this year.

In the new normal, Vietravel Airlines will maintain the flight route between Ho Chi Minh City and Quy Nhon with a frequency of 1 flight per day. The carrier said it will ensure the on-time operation rate reaches over 98% and may increase the frequency to 2 flights/day, depending on market demand. Flights to Quy Nhon and Danang officially took off on January 21.

To celebrate one year anniversary of operation, the airline also implemented a customer loyalty program with super cheap fares and many other offers such as free name change on tickets.

According to Mr. Vu Duc Bien, General Director of Vietravel Airlines, opening routes connecting tourist destinations is one of the airline’s top priorities. Currently, while preparing to open flight routes to other tourist destinations in Vietnam, the airline is working with international aviation authorities to open routes to destinations in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia from the second quarter.

Vietravel Airlines officially operated commercially from January 25, 2021 and currently has 3 aircrafts. The airline expects to increase the number of aircrafts to 6 in 2022. Vietravel Airlines now has flight routes connecting tourist destinations including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Phu Quoc and Quy Nhon.
