Vietnam railways increases passenger trains during the holiday

On the occasion of increasing travel demand of people on the upcoming 30/4 – 1/5 holiday, Vietnam Railways plan to increase passenger trains. 

Accordingly, the railway industry in the North is expected to add 30 more trains from Hanoi to Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Dong Hoi, Hue, Da Nang, Hai Phong and vice versa.

Specifically, Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company organized to increase the running of trains on the Hanoi – Lao Cai route runs NA1/NA2, NA3/NA4, NA7/NA8, SE35/SE36, NA9/NA12 trains. The Hanoi – Dong Hoi route runs QB1/QB2, QB2/QB4 trains; The Hanoi – Hue route runs SE17/SE18 trains; The route Hanoi – Da Nang runs SE19/SE20 trains; The Hanoi – Hai Phong route runs regularly HP1, LP3, LP5, LP7 trains and HP2, LP2, LP6, LP8 trains departing from Hai Phong from April 22 to May 4.

In southern Vietnam, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company plans to organize increased runs of SNT2, SNT4 trains from Saigon station to Nha Trang station, and vice versa (SNT1, SNT5). In addition, passengers can also take the Thong Nhat daily train with numbers SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6 and SE7/SE8. 

In the coming days, depending on the actual travel needs of passengers, the Vietnam railway industry will continue to organize more trains running on the routes.
