On June 15, Vietnam Airlines opened a new route connecting Vietnam and India, contributing to strengthening trade, cultural, social, and tourism connections between the two countries.
The new flight route will go from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh directly to New Delhi – the capital of India, operated by Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 aircraft. Flights between Hanoi and New Delhi take off on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City and New Delhi take off on Thursdays and Saturdays. The first flight with the number VN5025, from Hanoi to New Delhi, landed safely at Indira Gandhi International Airport at 14:25 on June 15 to welcome the opening of this new route.
India is one of Vietnam’s leading trading partners. On the other hand, Vietnam is also India’s 15th largest trading partner.
