The Thai government is currently planning to open a bus route connecting Laos and Vietnam to promote tourism, namely in three cities: Nakhon Phanom – Thakhek – Ha Tinh.
This new bus route will start from Nakhon Phanom in Thailand, go through Thakhek in Laos, and ends in Ha Tinh city, ending the 300km journey. With this new bus route, Thai tourists will have the opportunity to go to 3 different tourist destinations in just one day.
According to Laotiantimes, these three cities are considered particularly attractive to Thai tourists, with many local cultural attractions, temples, and sacred destinations. Many Thai tourists were excited to talk about their plans to have breakfast in Thailand, lunch in Laos, and dinner in Vietnam.
On the opposite side, the number of Vietnamese tourists to Thailand is also increasing gradually. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 43,376 Vietnamese tourists to Thailand, of which there were 18,601 arrivals in May alone and when the Thailand Pass was applied from June 1 to June 9, the number of Vietnamese tourists increased by 11,197 vísits.
