After Thailand’s Test & Go program and other travel restrictions were lifted, Thai Vietjet began to increase international flights from its headquarters in Bangkok.
Accordingly, the airline confirmed that it has introduced daily flights between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi airport) and Phnom Penh. This information comes after the airline put into operation three weekly flights from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Singapore at the end of April 2022.
Singapore flights will also increase to five weekly flights from June 2 this year and up to daily flights starting June 16. In addition, the airline will launch three weekly flights on the Phuket – Singapore route in June.
“Many countries have now lifted travel restrictions, reopening borders to international tourists once again. Thai Vietjet, as the leading airline in the recovery of the market, has carefully prepared for the resumption of international routes. In the first quarter of 2022, we have opened and re-opened a wide range of international flight services and will continue to introduce services to many new destinations in the region” – said CEO of Thai Vietjet, Mr. Woranate Laprabang.
Cooperating with Vietjet’s parent group, Thai Vietjet has established a stable flight schedule between Thailand and Vietnam. Currently, the airline operates 3 daily flights on the route from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, the airline resumed three weekly direct flights from Bangkok and Da Nang in March 2021. Services operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
By July, the airline will plan to operate direct flights from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Fukuoka (Japan), starting with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
