The ticket price to visit Po Nagar Cham Towers and Hon Chong in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) will increase to 30,000 VND per person for a turn from January 1, 2023.
Khanh Hoa province has just approved a Resolution on regulations on the rate of collection, payment, management, and use of entrance fees to visit the Po Nagar Cham Towers, a historical relic and Hon Chong scenic spot.
Specifically, the new fee for visitors to the two places is 30,000 VND/person, effective from January 1, 2023. It increases three times compared to the current price. In the 2016-2021 period, this locality had a regulation to collect 20,000 VND/time for the two destinations.
According to Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, the adjustment is to maintain common ground with other localities in the region regarding fees for visiting historical relics and scenic places.
The above fee is the lowest compared to the entrance fee at many relic sites of the provinces in the Central region and the Central Highlands today (from 30,000 to 150,000 VND).
In addition, international delegations, the Government, ministries, provinces, and centrally-run cities are free to visit and work at the Po Nagar Cham Towers and Hon Chong.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial Monuments Conservation Center under the Department of Culture and Sports of Khanh Hoa province is responsible for managing these two places and collecting fees. They use 65% of the total proceeds for the activities. The rest shall be paid to the State budget for investment, property purchase, preservation, renovation, embellishment, and restoration of relics and scenic spots in the province.
