Jetstar Asia is increasing flights to Bangkok and Manila this month from its headquarters in Singapore. The move aims to give passengers more options when visiting two of Southeast Asia’s most popular cities.

Jetstar Asia operates two more Sunday and Monday morning flights as demand for Manila travel continues to increase. Jetstar Asia now operates 13 services per week to the Philippine capital.

Jetstar Asia also  one more service on Saturday morning between Singapore and Bangkok, bringing its services to eight weekly return routes. The additional service will support transit customers from codeshare partners, Qantas, Emirates, Srilankan Air, and Finnair.

Jetstar Asia Southeast Asia sales manager, Woo Wai Keong, said it was encouraging to see demand for air travel increase as consumer confidence recovers. “In July, Jetstar Asia’s load factor averaged over 90%, which means we welcomed more passengers on our flights and made the world more accessible to our customers” – Woo Wai Keong commented.

Starting August 19, Jetstar Asia will reschedule two flights between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City to depart on Friday and Sunday evenings instead of Wednesday and Sunday mornings. The service also helps customers connect from Qantas, Emirates, Srilankan Air, Finnair and KLM flights.

Jetstar Asia currently operates more than 200 flights per week from Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal I to 12 major destinations across Southeast Asia.
