This new pedestrian street will be 850 meters long, with an investment cost of up to 4 million USD.
Recently, the section of Hai Ba Trung street in Vinh Ninh ward (Hue) has begun to be renovated to transform into a completely new pedestrian street. Accordingly, this is the 4th pedestrian street in Hue and was built with a total cost of up to 97 billion VND (4 million USD).
It is known that both sides of the sidewalk of the whole street will be upgraded with modern drainage, electricity and lighting systems, and paved with stones and planted trees.
In particular, to enhance the travel experience for people at night, the local government said it would install a surveillance camera system, as well as arrange public utility services.
Last April, Hue also successfully opened the third pedestrian street around the Hoang Thanh area, right after Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street along the Huong River, and backpacker area at the intersection of Vo Thi Sau, Chu Van An and Pham Ngu Lao.
Hopefully, with these innovative efforts, Hue’s nightlife will become richer and more vibrant. From there, it can attract a large number of domestic and international tourists.
