Hilton continues to roll out new initiatives to attract guests through changes in Hilton Honors policies and the Hilton EventReady Hybrid Solutions for hybrid events.
Hilton Honors has changed the requirements of its status match program to make it easier for members to reach the elite tier than before.
According to Hilton, its Base and Silver members who have never completed a Hilton Honors status match challenge and is currently having status in a competitor loyalty program, including Marriott Bonvoy, IHG Rewards Club, World of Hyatt, Best Western Rewards, Choice Privileges, Le Club Accor Hotels, Radisson Rewards and Wyndham Rewards, are eligible for the offer.
The eligible members can apply to change to Gold status and to receive certain offers that will be considered after 90 days of application and validation.
To maintain Gold status at the end of the 90 days members had to complete 5 nights during the promotional period of 90 days, and to upgrade to Diamond they needed to complete 9 nights. The new status will be valid until March 31, 2023
Previously, these requirements were double as they had to stay for 5 and 18 nights for Gold and Diamond status respectively.
According to Hilton, the hotel will process the status match requests within 5-7 business days and may request some additional validation if necessary.
Besides, Hilton also introduces a new set of Hilton EventReady Hybrid Solutions targeting hybrid events.
In particular, Hilton will provide event organizers with planning resources including an expanded Hilton EventReady Playbook and flexible customer offers.
As part of the Hilton EventReady Hybrid Solutions, participating hotels will have access to comprehensive training resources to build and strengthen team members’ knowledge in hybrid events.
According to the hotel, the new solutions will be rolling out this month. Additionally, the expanded Hybrid Events chapter of the Hilton EventReady Playbook, which will include detailed case studies, pro-tips, a glossary of hybrid-event terms and more, will also be available in English this month and accessible to customers working with any hotel within the Hilton global portfolio.
