Fiji Airways enhances its digital booking experience with Amadeus’s technology

Fiji Airways promoted its partnership with Amadeus to enhance the quality of the digital booking experience for tourists.

The airline is using Amadeus’s cutting edge-booking engine, Digital Commerce, and front-end touchpoint solution Amadeus Reference Experience for booking and self-service check-in. The technology will ensure that their customers experience services consistently on the Fiji Airways website and mobile application.

Besides, Fiji has also implemented Traveler ID to connect, digitize and automate traveler identification and document validation on their journeys while satisfying regulatory requirements. Moreover, Traveler ID will synchronize health certificate touchpoints end-to-end, and integrate multiple stakeholders. Thus, the platform helps customers prove the health documents they need on their journey.

According to Gordon Penfold, executive manager, Shared Business Services, Fiji Airways, their collaboration with Amadeus has developed over time. They are excited about the benefits of technology from the Digital Experience Suite. Also, the airline endeavors to be a creditable airline retailer by using a mobile-first approach and offering flexible services. Thus, they believed that they would have more interactions with customers, higher conversion rates, and higher satisfaction with the advanced technology.

The carrier’s focus on ensuring that its customer journey is seamless and frictionless is demonstrated by its willingness to implement this new technology. The implementation of Reference Experience will give the airline more control and easy to configure and deploy its digital strategies and lift its game when it comes to digital commerce.”

The Digital Experience Suite has a Digital Commerce part, a new internet booking engine of Amadeus. This engine can be used by modern APIs and possess unique capabilities. With Amadeus Reference Experience, the airline can design and adjust its online experience using built-in configuration capabilities.
