According to the data, Da Nang tourism is recording considerable signs of recovery after the pandemic.

Da Nang tourism began to show indications of resurgence after Vietnam reopened officially. From March to November 2022, Da Nang received 3.7 million visitors, including 483,000 international tourists.

Speaking at the Vietnam International Travel Fair, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Doan Van Viet, emphasized that sea tourism will be the key. “Da Nang is a key economic destination in central Vietnam and one of three markets to nationwide visitors. It is a popular location boosting potential tourism of islands and sea – one of four key products of Vietnam’s tourism,” he shared.

There have been 21 routes with a total of 25,000 flights to South Korea, India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong since March, according to Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism. This makes it more appealing for overseas tourists to visit.

Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, and Cu Lao Cham – Hoi An Biosphere Reserve remain top tourist attractions for both domestic and foreign visitors.
