Continent Worldwide Hotels recently announced the signing of a master development and franchise agreement with Ritz International Co. Ltd. to introduce and develop all six distinctive brands of the company in Vietnam. This announcement confirms Continent’s strategy to continue to expand its brands in the South Asia region.
Sharing about this announcement, Bernard Houppertz, President of Operations & Franchise Development – Asia, said that Vietnam in particular and South Asia in general currently represent some of the greatest potential for hotel growth in the world at this time, and the company is delighted to be partnering with Ritz International Co. Ltd to develop this potential.
“With the limited number of internationally branded properties in Vietnam, this anticipated partnership with Ritz International Co. Ltd will help us accelerate our growth plans and make a significant impact on the Vietnamese hotel market in a relatively short space of time”. In addition, the introduction of brands from Continent Worldwide Hotels will also “create demand from the developers to explore fresh and new brands to bring the Vietnamese hotel market.”
Not as part of this new franchise agreement with Ritz International, Continent Worldwide’s first hotel has opened in Hanoi under the Ancyra Hotels & Inns brand. And this same hotel owner also converted his hotel in Da Nang to the Ancyra brand earlier this year.
