Changi Airport has launched the “Hello, Changi Precinct” gallery at Terminal 3 (T3). This initiative aims to raise awareness of areas in and around the airport such as Pulau Ubin, Pasir Ris, Tampines, Bedok, and East Coast Park.
With interactive elements and photo spots modeled after iconic sights and sounds in the Changi Area, visitors can pose for photos and explore events across the 7 themed zones. As part of the initiative, Changi also launched two new exploration tours – My Changi Airport Tour and My Changi Village Heritage Tour.
Enter the exciting world of the Changi Precinct gallery at Departure Hall T3, where visitors can pose with iconic cultural landmarks. The journey begins at the Changi Airport area, where visitors can take pictures with models of various famous spots at the airport, such as Jewel Changi Airport and the well-loved Terminal 2 flight information flip-board.
Moving through 7 different zones, visitors can learn nuggets and interesting stories about Siglap (a neighborhood located in the East of Singapore), play a digital arcade game at an HDB void deck and visit the “watermelon” playground. In addition, the bumboat takes visitors through the history of Pulau Ubin and the east coast of Singapore.
A tour of Changi Airport is also organized to trace the airport’s growth through the stories of airport staff and visitors. The tour begins at Terminal 1 and guides participants through the airport’s entertainment spaces, art installations, design, and heritage businesses.
Participants will get a closer look at the behind-the-scenes activities that make Changi Airport work, as well as fascinating anecdotes from people who have worked at and visited Changi Airport so far.
In addition to the two new tours, visitors can also sign up for six other tours that run until October. Each tour explores an important area of the Changi Precinct, such as Bedok, Pulau Ubin, and Pasir Ris. The “Hello, Changi Precinct” Gallery will be open until October 23, 2022 at Departure Hall T3.
