In the list of 100 best new hotels in the world voted by the prestigious travel magazine Travel + Leisure of the US, Capella Hanoi is among 6 representatives of Asia and the only hotel of Vietnam in the top.
Capella Hanoi is located on Le Phung Hieu Street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, just a few steps from the Hanoi Opera House, a very convenient location for first-time visitors to the capital. The hotel has 47 rooms and suites, each individually decorated with art artifacts and custom portrait statues honoring legendary Opera artists, composers, designers and artists, and dialogue with their performances.
The hotel’s designer is the American architect “witch” Bill Bensley – who has overseen more than 200 hotel projects in 50 countries. Thanks to his artistic eye, Mr. Bensley injects a 20th-century atmosphere into decorative details such as the theater paintings that hang on the guest room walls, and many other antiques decoration around the hotel.
