Agoda has rolled out many products to improve travel accessibility and efficiency as Asian countries begin to reopen.
Agoda expands quarantine packages by states for travelers undergoing mandatory quarantine in many Asian countries. Previously, these packages were deployed in the Thai market.
Travelers can search for accommodations and review prices in real-time with more than 600 government-approved hotels globally, including new locations in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan and the Philippines.
Agoda is also expanding the number of markets participating in this program in the coming months.
With Agoda’s international reach and marketing strategies, participating hotels will be able to drive higher exposure and conversion rates when travelers search for quarantine hotels.
In addition, Agoda also built a travel restrictions mapping tool, in partnership with digital solutions provider Sherpa. This interactive map will provide a full range of entry restrictions related to Covid-19, testing requirements, quarantine, etc at destinations.
Agoda also developed guides for the selection of cities and countries with in-depth information on top travel destinations, providing specific information on the different regulations of each region, and travel tips post-Covid.
The guide is already available in Thailand and will soon be in other destinations such as the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, France, the US, UAE, South Korea, Japan and Singapore later this year.
