Agoda is expanding into wholesale distribution with the launch of a new hotel solution called Beds Network.
Beds Networks will leverage the connection network of its parent company, Booking Holdings, with more than 10,000 affiliate partners across many markets and verticals, with the aim of helping hotels distribute wholesale rates more efficiently.
Beds Network can assist partners in inflexible revenue management with the ability to change revenue planning on pricing and availability when needed; less bureaucracy saves time and money; expanding distribution in many markets globally; Better synergy between B2B and B2C teams in the accommodation partners.
Liyana Jamil, Beds Network associate vice president said: “For Agoda Beds Network, our hotel partners have full control, including the flexibility to set and change the price that they wish to sell their rooms at. This could include their wholesale or B2B rates if they choose to do so. There are no additional contracts required (if already an Agoda partner), and during these volatile times, hotels have the freedom to modify their revenue and inventory planning as and when they need.”
“Agoda’s Beds Network is launching at a crucial time, travel begins its recovery but continues to be volatile, with markets opening globally but each at a different pace.”
Beds Network has launched in 20 markets across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, including cities like Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, with the view to expand globally in 2022.
