Accor, the largest international hotel operator in Southeast Asia, has signed a management agreement with PT Bintan Lagoon Resort, a subsidiary of PT Edika Agung Mandiri, to bring Mövenpick Bintan Lagoon Resort into operation.
Scheduled to open in 2023, Mövenpick Bintan Lagoon Resort in addition to becoming the first resort under Accor’s Mövenpick brand presented in Bintan, it also adds 413 rooms to the brand’s growing portfolio in the region.
Known as a favorite resort destination, Bintan Island boasts stunning tropical landscapes, rich cuisine, and a variety of experiences from land to sea. Mövenpick Bintan Lagoon Resort will be located in the northern part of the island with its own private beach.

In addition, an entertainment and wellness complex including a gym, spa and kids’ club will also be built within the resort’s premises.
